It is a good idea to start to think about who may be able to provide care for you should someone fall ill in the coming weeks. Ask your family and people you know, maybe someone has been laid off because of all the work stoppages in the area resulting from the virus and would be willing to work for you until this all blows over. You may know someone whose child is home from college and wants to make some extra money. Have them get in touch with your Relationship Manager and they will begin the process of getting their required documentation and ready to start should someone begin showing signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and be unable to care for you.
Burd Home Health has also begun to put out ads to start to recruit workers that can be used to fill in should one of your caregivers start to show signs and symptoms of COVID-19. In the event that you are unable to find anyone that you may know to fill in as a caregiver reach out to your Relationship Manager and see if there is anyone in your area looking for work.
