ELIGIBILITY

Because Self-Directed PCS is a state-funded home health program, there are a few eligibility requirements, learn about them below. 

The consumer (person needing care) is actively enrolled in Medicaid 

The consumer (person needing care) is a NV resident & 18+

The consumer (person needing care) needs assistance with daily activities

Q: Do I need special certifications to become a caregiver?

A: Yes, there is a mandated 16-hour paid virtual training course and an additional 8 hours of continuing education annually + CPR Certification. BURD Home Health also conducts background checks.
