Hire Family or Friends as Paid Caregivers
This program allows eligible elderly and disabled individuals to hire and manage a caregiver for home care services, often a family member or friend.
Funded by Missouri Medicaid (MO HealthNet), the caregiver is paid by Medicaid with no cost to the person receiving care.
Receiving Home Care
Care may include help with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and managing medications. It may also include household tasks like laundry, cleaning, cooking, and grocery shopping.
