If you live in Missouri and need help paying for healthcare, MO HealthNet, the state’s Medicaid program, may be able to help. It provides free or low-cost coverage for eligible children, adults, seniors, and people with disabilities. Here's how to apply and what to expect.
What Is MO HealthNet?
MO HealthNet covers a wide range of services:
Doctor visits and hospital care
Prescription medications
Mental health and substance use treatment
Dental and vision care
Long-term care and home health services
Note: You can apply any time of year—there’s no deadline.
Who Can Qualify?
Eligibility is based on:
Income and household size

Missouri expanded Medicaid in 2021, so more adults under age 65 may now qualify based on income alone.
